Meet Bodega — a man whose life was hanging in the balance until a life-changing gift from the Veteran's Administration gave him a second chance. For years, Bodega battled End-Stage Renal Failure, facing each day with hope and resilience, yet knowing the road ahead was uncertain. Then, a miracle happened: a donor kidney from the VA restored his health, his strength, and his spirit.

Today, Bodega is a thriving artist, traveling across the country, sharing his vibrant creations, and living each moment with gratitude and purpose. His journey of survival has inspired countless others, and now, he dreams of a new adventure — one that celebrates life, hope, and the incredible power of a transplant team that has saved so many lives.

Our Mission

We aim to fund a once-in-a-lifetime four-month trip to Africa for Bodega, where he plans to conquer three of Africa’s most iconic mountains:

Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania  
Mount Kenya in Kenya  
Mount Atlas in Morocco

This expedition isn’t just about climbing peaks — it’s about honoring those who save lives, embracing life's adventures, and inspiring others to live fully, regardless of their past struggles.
